About We Bond
We Bond is a startup reimagining how meaningful human connections are formed. Our app leverages technology to help users expand their social circles through trusted and engaging interactions, blending online and offline experiences. As we prepare for our launch, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead our technical vision and execution.

What We’re Looking For
We need a hands-on, dynamic CTO who can lead and grow the technology team while setting the foundation for scalable app development. The ideal candidate has entrepreneurial experience, having founded or led technical teams in startups. We value experience over big-name credentials, prioritizing individuals with a self-starter mindset who thrive in fast-paced, resourceful environments.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and deploy both frontend and backend features for the app using Flutter and Flutter Flow.
Backend Systems: Build and maintain scalable backend infrastructure, including APIs and database management systems.
Matching Algorithms: Collaborate with experts to implement effective algorithms (e.g., vector search, content-based filtering) to optimize user matching.
App Features: Develop core functionalities such as user registration and onboarding, daily prompts and activity feeds, messaging systems and real-time interactions, and admin tools for user and event management.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all data is encrypted, securely stored, and compliant with data protection regulations.
Infrastructure: Deploy scalable solutions using cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Flutter and backend technologies (Node.js, Django, or similar). Strong understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL). Experience with cloud hosting and storage solutions (e.g., AWS, S3).
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and execute with limited resources.
Startup Experience: Background as a lead engineer or founder in a startup environment is essential.
End-to-End Builder: Capable of designing and deploying systems from scratch, with experience managing all aspects of app development.
Connection-Oriented Thinking: Can relate to the 'you already know them' problem and deeply understand how interconnected we are within our social circles, no matter where in the world we are.
Passion for Connection: Enthusiastic about creating meaningful products that impact people's lives.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with matching or recommendation algorithms.
Familiarity with managing digital nomad and tech communities.
Knowledge of real-time analytics and monitoring tools.
